Be as wise as a serpent and as tender as a dove.
In London far right groups clash with participants at a peaceful Black Lives Matter demonstration.
Captain Cosy and Brad have a few minutes of quiet after a stormy day of sailing. It was great to sketch live models, friends who stayed in one place and didn’t get up and walk away never to be seen again, which happens when I sketch in a city cafe.
What is interesting to me is just recently I saw this photograph of Megan taken a month ago. My son-in-law must have taken it when I was drawing her, although in my sketch she was listening to music on her cell phone.
Walking out into fresh morning air
I feel the quiet
But, no, a bird sings
And, then I hear a full chorus
Sung by birds I cannot see
I listen and hear
What my heart would love to see.
Ya Gotta have a buddy and a beer when you go to Super Bowl City
Or a little wine?
It’s time to play ball!

Which one is going to win out for Super Bowl? Twitter or Facebook?
San Francisco gets ready for the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos! The weather is clear and sunny. Macy’s fireworks filled the sky over the Ferry Building to kick off the week of celebration. Last week I was down by the Ferry Building where construction was the main attraction – lots of fun, taking shots with my camera and talking with the security volunteers.
Willem’s drawing made in December
My photograph made in January
I saw Willem’s drawing on the table at a family celebration before Christmas. We both love to draw. Next week, he’s coming over to the studio to paint. I hope he makes a big painting.
