Hey Thom!

Listen-lion-006

Hey Thom!  Hey Thom!  I’m listening.  I hear you where did I go? Nathan, you know, it’s all about writing but there’s always something else to do like texting Binny or  having a drink I can’t remember how to put a black frame around a drawing so the drawing doesn’t look all gray and fade into the background of the post. I’m listening. Hey Thom! Hey Thom ! did you know that Van Morrison wrote Listen to the Lion in San Francisco? But you knew that. And then there are my friends saying I haven’t heard from you are you all right? What’s that all about? oh I know, I haven’t been posting.

just write any story

On March 16, 2012 I entered a post titled Van Morrison’s “Listen to the Lion” A Tattoo. Today I tried to copy it and add that post to this one, but then the old post overwrote this post and so on. After hours of by guess and by golly I finally figured out how to add a link. Bottom line is just leave it, finish this post and get back into the habit of blogging again! https://carlasaunders.com/2012/03/16/listen-to-the-lion-a-tattoo/

  1. Hi Carla, I spent a lovely morning meandering through your blog immersing myself in your compelling work. It all was so inspiring and I would love to visit and see it close up one of these days. Your post of the tattoo kind of woke me up. Tattoos are very close to my heart. Check out my Facebook page: A Break in the Battle and click on photos. Hope to see you Thursday!

  2. I spent the morning meandering through your blog, Carla. Your work inspires me. Also was so surprised by the tattoo image. I have a facebook page “A Break in the Battle” that was the result of an exhibit I did of soldiers’ tattoos. I’d love to see some of your paintings and drawings! See you Thursday?
