Following a suggestion from Otto’s post, I took a walk. http://munchow.wordpress.com/2014/09/09/diversify-and-become-more-creative/
Check out two of my favorite dots, Otto and David. I think you will will be pleased, then go take a walk.

A month ago I was painting 7 foot paintings about how I felt about the wars going on in this world, today. The paintings are waiting for me to come back to the studio. Meanwhile, I’ve been collecting dots, drawing trees, writing a little and following feathers down the street.

Feather didn’t stay
I got a little proud that I was able to encourage you to follow a feather, because the result is awesome. You could make this into a whole exhibition. I love each and every image, there is a story in each of them and together the tell an even deeper story about urban vs. natural life (as far as I see it, that is). So inspirational. Another dot for me. Thank you.

Look what you started, Otto! Yes, I did follow a feather up the street (a San Francisco hill). I did happen to have my iphone with me and I just started taking pictures. The creative juices started to roll. I have a couple more images to make a series of eight which would make a nice Artist’s Book. Thank you for the ideas and encouragement. Now the challenge is to complete the project 🙂
