Golden Gate Bridge and Coit Tower
It’s the getting up at 4:30 am. That’s the hard part. But it’s worth it when you see the sun come up and bathe it’s glorious light on the view in front of you. All those nondescript buildings at the base of the monuments, so uninteresting during the day, turned into magical shapes in the early morning light. Photography. It’s all about light.

On BetterPhoto.com I take a class, Masterpiece Membership with Jim Miotke. He posts an assignment once a month. When I started this class I needed some kind of creative outlet while I was not able to go to the studio regularly. What fun this course is! I’m hooked. The assignment for May was to shoot a single scene or subject in as many ways as I could. The assignment read, Look for a subject or scene that has great potential and then see how many different “right answers” you can create out of that subject.” I chose a playground.
